Ski touring and heli skiing in Alaska

March/April

Alaska ?! Here we come.

Only mentioning the word Alaska can cause severe hallucinations associated with snow slopes, lots of powder, wildlife, moose, salmon and more. The world’s top heli ski destination offers no less interesting places for ski touring. We will take you to both. We will head to the massif of Mount Chugach and the nestled on the ocean coast town of Valdez, and we will visit some of the most interesting sites near the biggest city of the northernmost US state – Anchorage. A heli skis trip here is an obligation, something you do not want to miss when talking about Alaska. So start training, because your legs will burn from riding.

There is no need for detailed description of this program. The place in the world with the most amazing combination of powder, snow slopes and lines of 1000-1500 m, which everyone dreams of riding. Add to that the proximity of the ocean and the remoteness of this corner, and it begins to sound like a Scheherazade tale. In short – only for maniacs and people with strong legs.

The daily ascends during the ski tours are around and over 1000 m. The program is aimed for people with very good experience in ski touring and off-piste riding, in good physical shape, ready to challenge themselves. If you are not sure if this is right for you, write to us to discuss it.

This program is suitable for people experienced in ski touring and off-piste skiing and ready for adventure.

Note: We keep the rights to change the program in case of force majeure circumstances.

* The price is per person with a minimum of 4 registered.

* Reservation should be no later than 30 days before the program. Reservation is considered confirmed if payment is processed within 3 days after booking.

What Our Guests Say

★★★★★
Memories for a lifetime

In the winter of 2024, Basecamp Tours helped me fulfill a lifelong dream — backcountry skiing in Alaska. It was two unforgettable weeks that left a deep mark on me. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, with a gift for finding hidden gems and knowing exactly when to hit them. As anyone who's been there knows, the Alaskan slopes are both breathtaking and unforgiving, so having someone who could strike the perfect balance between safety and adrenaline made the experience all the more extraordinary. I'm already planning to join their upcoming adventures in Japan and Canada in the years ahead.

Thank the snow gods, then thank Stan

The snow gods were kind this weekend — that's on them, not me. But Stan and the Basecamp Tours crew being absolutely dialled in? That's every single time, no asterisk. Smart route choices, safety that never feels paranoid, and feedback that actually makes you better. The snow is a gamble. Basecamp Tours is not.
