Strashnoto Ezero and traverse of Kupenite (one-day trekking)
A challenging alpine tour full with adrenaline, breath-taking views with climbing of the highest peak in Northwest Rila.
Rila is the highest mountain in Bulgarian and in the Balkans. Its Northwest region has a typical alpine landscape. With its spectacular granite peaks in the area, this is a challenge for every mountain lover. Even that Northwest Rila is called after the emblematic peak Malyovitsa, its highest peak is Golyam (Big) Kupen (2731 m. asl.) with just 2 meters above Malyovitsa. It is in our “to do list” for today but definitely the accent is on the whole day we have prepared for you.
