Avalanche Safety – Free Practical Training Course

16 Jan 2021

/one day practical training course/

Winter is a beautiful but also a dangerous season. Snowpack and avalanche condition are one of the most important factors we should consider being out in the winter mountain. More and more people start getting into it and it’s vital to know it well and to be prepared for what to expect out there.

We have prepared a daily practical avalanche safety training no matter if you are a skier, snowboarder, climber or snowshoes-er. This training course is suitable for both beginners in terms of avalanche safety and also for those who want to refresh their knowledge and to put something new in the pocket.

The main purpose of this training course is to give you basic information of “What does avalanche is”; to get familiar with some of the typical signs of high avalanche danger; to understand why it’s so important to have and how to use individual avalanche gear; to give you a simple algorithm of “what to do” in case you become a witness of an avalanche incident.

This exercise is FREE OF CHARGE and is in line with one of the main purposes for us in Basecamp Tours – to contribute to mountaineering culture progress in our society.Share with friends. It’s worthy.

We will provide all necessary avalanche equipment. If you have your own, bring it and practice with it.
