One-day training course in fly fishing led by our most prominent certified instructor.

We are happy to invite you to a one-day training course in fly fishing led by our most prominent certified instructor – Stanislav Mankov. The training is suitable for both complete beginners and advanced in fly fishing. Fishing spot will be one of the trout rivers in Bulgaria and will be defined just before the date in order to have the best chance of success depending on conditions.
During this course you will be able to:
– learn how to cast a fly rod – basic and advance casts
– how to assemble your gear and line and choose the right fly according to the relevant conditions;
– techniques and tactics for success in trout fishing
– proper and ethical handling of the fish and effective practice of the “catch and release method”
– get familiar with the main representatives of aquatic insects inhabiting the rivers in our country.
Fishing will start not before 06:00 am and will continue until dark at the latest.
The instructor will be Stanislav Mankov – a world famous fly fisherman and definitely the best in the region. He gives a great rank to each of his tours and there is no doubt you will take a lot from his knowledge.
This course will be conducted with a group of 2 to 4 participants which guarantees individual and wholesome approach toward everyone. For individual training, please contact us in advance. Children under 18 years of age may take part but only with an attendant.
The course would be suitable as a gift to any avid angler!
If you do not have your own equipment, you can rent it from us at a price of BGN 50 per person per day. The equipment includes a fly fishing rod, reel, line and everything necessary for fly fishing, as well as high boots attached to a belt.
